Kamruddin Parvez is an Assistant Professor of Finance, School of Business in Chittagong Independent University and currently is also the Co In-charge of Division of Students’ Affairs (DOSA) and was the Faculty-In-Charge of Business Students’ Society (BSS) Club. He has completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) major in Finance from Independent University Bangladesh (IUB) in 2006 with Chancellor’s Gold Medal award (An Award presented by the then President of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh) for achieving highest CGPA of 4.00 out of 4.00 and previously completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) major in Finance and Minor in Marketing in 2004 with Magna Cum Laude (CGPA 3.88 out of 4.00) from Independent University Bangladesh (IUB). He has passed his SSC from Saint Placid’s High School, Chittagong in 1998 and has passed his HSC from Govt. College of Commerce, Chittagong in 2000. Prior to joining CIU he was a Lecturer in the School of Business under the previous Chittagong Campus of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) as a full time faculty and also he has also worked as an adjunct faculty member in East Delta University (EDU) in 2007-2008. Kamruddin Parvez has several publications ( 7 papers are already published and some are in the process) in national and international peer reviewed journals to his credit, and he has also presented his papers in home and abroad in Internationally reputed Conferences in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Dhaka.
