Md. Hasnath Kabir Fahim

Md. Hasnath Kabir Fahim is an academic, advocate and legal researcher, currently serving as a Lecturer of Law at Chittagong Independent University (CIU). Before joining to CIU, he worked as an Adjunct Faculty in Department of Law at International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). He has experience of working as an associate lawyer of Public Prosecutor (PP) of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Chattogram. He has completed LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) (Hons.) and LL.M. (Master of Laws) securing first class first position from IIUC and CIU respectively. Mr. Fahim is also an enrolled lawyer of Bangladesh Bar Council. His papers are published in referred journals from home and abroad.

  • Participated in “10th National Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition” on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) of ICRC in 2014 at University of Dhaka.
  • Awarded as Champion and Best Speaker in “Debate competition of Tech Fest” in 2014 and 2015 at International Islamic University Chittagong.
  • Achieved Best Position Paper award as well as Verbal Mention award in “Chittagong University Model United Nations” of 2017 and 2018 at University of Chittagong.
  • Participated in “International Students Exchange Program on Comparative Legal Studies of Bangladesh & Nepal” held on 2016 at Chittagong Independent University.
  • Participated in “10th School Debate Workshop” organized by Drishty Chittagong in 2005.
