Dr. Abu Sufian obtained a PhD in English Literary Studies from IIUM, Kuala Lumpur. He earned an MA in English literature (with distinction) from the same university. He was a Commonwealth Fellow from 2014-16 and his literary criticism & creative works have appeared in journals such as π΄π‘ π‘–π‘Žπ‘‘π‘–π‘, π½π‘œπ‘’π‘Ÿπ‘›π‘Žπ‘™ π‘œπ‘“ πΌπ‘ π‘™π‘Žπ‘šπ‘–π‘ πΏπ‘Žπ‘€ π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ πΆπ‘’π‘™π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘’, πΆπ‘Ÿπ‘–π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘–π‘œπ‘›, πΏπ‘–π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘¦ π‘‰π‘œπ‘¦π‘Žπ‘”π‘’, π‘†π‘π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘™π‘’π‘‘ πΏπ‘’π‘Žπ‘“ 𝑅𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑒𝑀 and others. His research interests span contemporary British literature, South Asian literature, Muslim women’s writing, creative writing and Bangladeshi literature in English.
