Mohammad Aktarul Alam Chowdhury is currently working as an Assistant Professor of School of Law at Chittagong Independent University (CIU). Before joining at CIU he was engaged as an Assistant Professor of the Department of Law at International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) till April 30, 2019. Mr. Chowdhury completed his LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M degree from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Furthermore, he accomplished a foreign Masters in Intellectual Property Law from University of Turin, Italy, under the prestigious scholarship awarded jointly by WIPO Academy & University of Turin, Italy. He also achieved a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in International Business and Commercial Law from Liverpool John Moors University, UK. Currently, he is a PhD fellow in Refugee Laws at University of Chittagong. Before working in teaching profession, Mr. Chowdhury was also a practicing lawyer of the High Court Division in Bangladesh Supreme Court.
