Md. Hasnath Kabir Fahim is an advocate, academic and legal researcher, currently serving as a Lecturer of Law at Chittagong Independent University (CIU). Before joining CIU he worked as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Law at International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). He has completed LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) and LL.M (Master of Laws) with distinction from IIUC and CIU respectively. He has also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Genocide Studies from the University of Dhaka. Mr. Fahim is also an enrolled lawyer of the High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh. His research interests are criminal justice, criminology, international humanitarian law, genocide studies and refugee law. His papers are published in referred journals from home and abroad.
