Proof of English as Medium of Instruction

At Chittagong Independent University (CIU), English is the primary medium of instruction and assessment for all academic programs, including lectures, tutorials, assignments, examinations, and course materials except the language courses other than English (e.g. Bangla, French, Chinese, Korean etc.) This policy ensures that students gain strong proficiency in English, preparing them for global career opportunities and higher education both in Bangladesh and abroad.

Students who require an official proof of English as the medium of instruction — for higher studies, scholarships, or professional purposes may contact the Registrar's Office to submit a request.
